Warrants and Reports
The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office Warrant and Report section is a division of the Civil Affairs Command, under the direct supervision of the Lieutenant of Communications. This office consists of five Office Assistants and an Office Manager. The Warrant Office works closely with the Court Clerks, Judges and District Attorney's offices in processing arrest warrants. Warrants are assigned to sworn Deputies and service is attempted in addition to the Deputies routine patrol and calls for service duties. The Warrant Office processes approximately seventeen thousand warrants per year.
The Report Section is responsible for tracking and processing all incident/offense reports generated by the Patrol Deputies as a result of calls for service. This section processes approximately five thousand incident/offense reports per year.
The Warrant Office does not release warrant information to the general public because of privacy policies. However, if someone believes they have a warrant for their arrest, they should come to the Baldwin County Sheriff's Correction Center booking office or contact a bonding company or their attorney to gain warrant information.
