Citizens Advisory Committee
During my first term as Sheriff of Baldwin County, I followed the example set by many other law enforcement agencies in our region by establishing a Citizens Advisory Committee.
This Committee consists of volunteers from the various communities throughout Baldwin County. The Committee meets at least four times a year and is informed of the various functions and activities of the Sheriff's Office. In these meetings it is encouraged of each member to return to their communities and seek out information regarding of how the Sheriff's Office can better the citizens of Baldwin County. Several areas have been addressed based upon the Citizens Advisory Committees comments. These were to include improved interaction with the youth and children of Baldwin County, improved drug enforcement, and improvements at the Baldwin County Sheriff's Corrections Center.
If you have an interest in serving on the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office Citizens Advisory Committee, please contact my assistant, Tammy Rider @ or 251-580-1677.
The Citizens Advisory Committee is a valuable link between the Sheriff's Office and the community. I would like to thank all of those who have served on the Committee past and present for their valuable input into our organization.
